“The Light”: New Business+ Class Residential Complex Ignites Construction in Kyiv’s Pechersk District

City One Development has successfully completed the preparatory phase and commenced the active construction of its premium residential complex, The Light, situated in the prestigious Pechersk district of the capital at 5 John McCain Street.

Before embarking on the main construction works, an extensive preparatory stage was carried out. This involved the demolition of old structures, the removal of construction debris, and the essential engineering groundwork, including the relocation of outdated electricity, water, and sewage networks. These crucial steps have established a secure and technologically prepared environment for the new development.

First Phase Underway

Construction has begun with the fourth phase, adjacent to Vasyl Tyutyunnyk Street. This segment will feature two residential buildings (project numbers 6 and 8) and a modern kindergarten. The total area of this phase spans 28,144 square meters, with 11,240 square meters dedicated to residential units comprising 160 apartments. Additionally, there will be an underground parking facility with 161 spaces and a kindergarten covering 2,063 square meters, spread across two above-ground and one underground level that doubles as a shelter.

Overall Project Scope

The comprehensive The Light project envisions the construction of eight buildings, ranging from 9 to 31 stories, organized into four distinct phases. The development will unfold sequentially according to the master plan. The total built-up area will encompass 170,334 square meters, including 71,196 square meters for residential purposes (920 apartments) and 22,449 square meters for commercial spaces. The complex will offer 994 parking spaces and 30 innovative cityhouses.
